Guitarist/Composer Scott Keever performs original music that blends Triphop, Arabic/North African pop, Bhangra, Swamp Blues, Ambient Electronica, Guitar Looping, Tribal Rhythms and elements of Soundtrack Music into one incandescent fusion.

Scott also works as a Solo Acoustic Guitarist, performing pieces that are influenced by Americana, Celtic and East Asian music.

Scott also plays guitar for the Twin Cities ambient/electronic group Pirates of Dreamtime who will be performing on Thursday night of CONvergence. PoD will be working on an album in late fall this year.

In addition, Scott plays guitar, mandolin and percussion for Orkestar Bez Ime (OBI), a Twin Cities band that specializes in Balkan Dance Music. In 2011, OBI won the McKnight Fellowship for Musicians. They'll be traveling to Serbia in mid-July to learn about Romany (gypsy) music and culture.

Scott specializes in music for film, video and other media.

Since 2005, under Human Soundtrack Productions, he has composed music for radio (KFAI news - 90.3FM), theatre (Comedy Suitcase), short films (Y.A.F.I. Underground Productions), internet podcasts (Microscopic Life - Lbs. Productions), and feature length documentaries (Killing Joke Productions).
